This vacation house was designed in collaboration with the owners and the studio of Livio Vacchini and Silvia Gmur. The objective of the project was to create a contemporary house with emphasis on simplicity and the harmonization with its environment.
The rooms of the house are situated in a unified rectangular space where it is arranged in series: entrance, garden, veranda, sitting room, atrium, bedroom and veranda.
The building is divided in length in two spaces and is realized by three separate walls. The solid back wall which holds back the earth, two middle portals which hold the roof and a front wall in four parts. Two of them are slopping to allow the reflected light of the sea, and also connect the two building masses, that of the bedroom and the sitting room which are separated from the courtyard with the palm trees.
The open space is preserved in its natural state with low bush and brush of its natural environment.
